Our Story
Three Decades of Institutional Flooring
Kent-Leckie Flooring was founded in 1999 with a single focus: delivering commercial flooring installations that meet the exacting standards of our clients specific projects.
Based in Toronto, we have grown steadily by doing one thing well — showing up on time, installing to specification, and standing behind our work. Our client relationships span decades, and many of our projects come through repeat business and referrals from facility managers who have worked with us before.
Today, Kent-Leckie specializes primarily in healthcare and institutional projects, with a strong focus on resilient flooring and hygienic wall panel systems. Our team of experienced and certified installers takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, ensuring every project is completed correctly, efficiently, and on schedule.

We read the spec. Every product we install is verified against the project specification before procurement. No substitutions without written approval.
Schedule Accountability
Institutional projects run on tight timelines. We coordinate directly with general contractors and facility managers to meet milestones — including phased and after-hours work.

From site assessment through final inspection, you deal with one team. No subcontracting of installation work. Our crews are our own.
Infection Control Awareness
Our crews are trained in ICRA protocols and understand the operational requirements of active healthcare environments. We work clean, and we work safely.
Manufacturer Relationships
We maintain direct relationships with leading flooring manufacturers, giving our clients access to the full product range and manufacturer warranty support.
Long-Term Support
We provide as-built documentation, maintenance guidelines, and warranty information at project close — and we're available for warranty claims and remediation work.

Active WSIB coverage for all field personnel. Clearance certificates available on request for every project.

Full commercial general liability coverage meeting the requirements of Ontario's major institutional procurement frameworks.
ICRA Training
Infection Control Risk Assessment training for crews working in active healthcare facilities, in compliance with CSA Z317.13 and facility-specific requirements.
Manufacturer Certification
Certified installation crews for leading commercial flooring manufacturers including Altro, Mondo, Tarkett, Armstrong, Interface, Forbo, and Shaw Contract.
Member of Local 27 Union
Kent-Leckie is signatory to Local 27 Carpenters Union and employs their members.
